A manga-style comic featuring Mizuki and Kanade from Project Sekai. In the first panel, Kanade, looking distressed and nervous, stammers, “E-eh... um... n-no that’s not... I’m... not...” A boy with glasses smirks and asks, "Hey, you're the girl who was with Akiyama just now, right? Could it be that you're a guy too?" Another boy adds from off-screen, "It’s just a joke! Haha! You're pretty shy, aren't you?" The next scene shifts to Mizuki, who grabs Kanade protectively, pulling her close. Mizuki looks serious and confrontational, her arm draped over Kanade, who blushes in embarrassment. Mizuki says in a deep, stern voice, "Don’t you guys have better things to do than to pick on a girl you don’t know?" One of the boys, now nervous, responds, "Akiyama, chill!! We were just messing around!! Sorry!!" Mizuki keeps her protective stance, giving the boys an unyielding glare, while Kanade stays pressed against her, looking flustered.

1st panel of this mini comic :] mizuki goes up to kanade holding a pink carnation, and says "Um... Excuse me... you looked a bit down right now, so..." the dialogue ends there but continues next page. Kanade here is a bit startled by her, saying 'huh?' as a reaction. (Context: the reason why mizuki is going up to kanade in this is because shes been seeing her around the city for a while, but lately has been seeing her more upset (due to her father falling ill.) she doesnt like seeing her like that so she took a pink carnation to give her, since these flowers would always remind her of kanade :])

Mizuki brings forward the carnation to kanade and says "Uh.. I found this flower that I thought would cheer you up." Kanade hesitates a bit at this remark, "Oh...um...Thank you." Though after this, mizuki puts the flower on the side of her head in a bit of a nervous panic and says "..I think it would look prettier on your hair." Kanade is confused and nervous at this. (LMAO. THIS SOUNDS LIKE A FANFIC SORRY NOT SORRY.)

After putting the carnation on Kanades hair, Mizuki turns around, but faces her. She starts to tell her the truth on why she gave her that flower, "...I've been seeing you around lately, and you haven't been smiling much." She pauses, and turns around completely. "I feel lile you would feel better if you did...So smile more, ok?..." She pauses more. Maybe shes been bothering the girl too much. "....Uh..Either way, Good bye." And she ends off the conversation there and leaves. Kanade reacts yet more confused, but gets cut off slightly as Mizuki starts leaving: "..Oh, Wai-" (dialogue continues next page)

Kanade slightly shouts out with her hand raised up, "W-Wait a second!!.." but doesnt stop the girl. She just stays there confused and silent, with the pretty carnation yet in her hair. She raises up her hand slightly, and asks to herself: "...What just happened?" (a gay awakening, kanade.thats what happened.you absolute loser .laugh emoji. Anyway thsi comic was a bit self indulgent..just wanted to create an au where middle school kanade and middle school mizuki interact because they have SO much potential...hopefully its not too out of character..)
