I like to think, and get other people's takes. It's especially great if they point out something I never really thought of, due to how I view events, characters, etc.

I think the problem comes from folks taking others ideas/takeaways as gospel right off the bat without thinking for themselves.

Just a reminder that not everyone in the military is a bootlicking asshole. Many are kids with no other options and others were born into families that expect the kids to join. Don’t be an asshole and cheer on their deaths.

I would say to do an "general strike," and shut everything down until the killing stops, (worked in Minnesota against I.C.E, sort of) if folks were up to it.

Star Trek has been, objectively speaking, a better written franchise,TV wise, but I believe SW could be just as good, long-form television.

I really am getting irritated by resistance accounts that, while otherwise approaching our problem correctly, keep telling us voting won't matter and the election won't be free and fair. Not only is that not helpful, it's actually harmful...

I do believe that there's been clear signs to me at least that this regime isn't eternal, there has not been a single policy win for them, and they have "nothing", and I mean "nothing" to run on.

So yeah, Democracy is alive, culture-war is being won, this won't last, and we will have elections.

I don't think democracy is dead, given how we've still been having elections; public pushback that has put I.C.E. into a clear "negative" view; the tariffs being deemed illegal (a big win.) and the Bad Bunny halftime show viewership record-
