A little progress!
Have sewn the front pieces together.
The flat felled seams are working!
Taking this slowly- more mental ruminations before physical labour.
Turned out flat felling is easier if the edges are not overlocked.
#geometryinaction!
An expanse of water in the foreground with trees in the middle ground, with a bit of blue sky and white clouds. In the middle distance is a little waterfall, tumbling away.
Walk along the Mullum mullum creek today.
Was hot and humid with no breath of wind at the beginning!
Totally soaked!
Luckily there was a zephyr at mid morning!
The confluence of the Mullum Mullum and Birrarung was beautiful!
Though the pic below is of the Birrarung (I think)π€·π½ββοΈ
now do who funded astroturfing campaigns for those six new Narrabri councillors who fucked the whole thing up.
On a completely different topic, I wonder if Joyce still owns properties down the road in Gwabegar. You know the ones on the supposed inland rail route.

We need more of you!
Yes!
Once I saw a billboard for an auction in the middle of a bike lane. Took a photo and reported to council.
They went 5 days later and reported that it wasnβt there π€·π½ββοΈ

I know we've just recovered from a recipetineats scandal, but this comment deserves a week in the news, at least!

This brave young woman was a school friend of my niece. The circumstances were so similar that the headline made me think the case was hers. Different town, same story.

Indeed. Now think of how to take a 2-D piece of fabric and wrap it around a 3-D frame, which has all sorts of lumps and bumps, and still make something aesthetically pleasing.
You may use those threads π
Same here!
And this is on the floor, to be able to pin everything!
You got it right.
I started pinning it on Sunday. Finished it yesterday night.
Then looked at it!!
Have started cutting it tonight.
But will do it over the next couple of nights!
Looking forward to suggestions

I agree.
But seams β¦ they come in the way!
Yes, I did write that, didnβt I!!
I must be dreaming!
Pattern pieces laid out on cloth.
Starting new project.
Got some fabric (not much!) which is black and white on one side and colourful on the other.
After much deliberation: making a simple, reversible jacket.
Fabric frays madly, so more pain to come.
Will update thread as I go.
