Stills is amazing, but this record is all about Mike Bloomfield who is a monster on Side 1. Just put on track 1 “Albert’s Shuffle” and let the music do the talking.

You also just PERFECTLY described my Dad. That’s hilarious.

The Magus by John Fowles… probably 1/3 of the way through is where you can find the exact chapter.

That book is loaded with some of the most incredible passages in modern literature.
