I was 7 when I saw Free Willy, and Madsen's performance stuck with me so much, I'd see his name on other movies at Blockbuster and ask my Mom if we could rent them. She always said no. That was smart of her.

Discovering his work when I was older was such a great time. There weren't many like him.
