Doing world building is one of the hardest things I have ever done in my entire life. You think of everything there is on Earth, and now you have to do the same thing but try and make it as original as possible. I have to ask myself questions like β€œwhat REALLY is a plant?”

Proud to have my paper published in the MNRAS journal earlier this year. We studied how the mass of the circumgalactic medium changes its physical properties in cosmological simulations. Thoroughly proud to have this work published! πŸ”

On July 02, 2025, astronomers confirmed the discovery of Comet 3I/ATLAS, marking only the third time in recorded history that an interstellar object (ISO) has been identified passing through our Solar System. This follows the landmark discoveries of 1I/β€˜Oumuamua in 2017 and 2I/Borisov in 2019. πŸ§ͺ πŸ” πŸ‘©β€πŸ”¬

Tomorrow morning, instead of clouds covering the Sun, a partial solar eclipse will cover 30-50% of the Sun instead in the UK!

If anyone is in the Cardiff area and interested in seeing the eclipse, there will be an event held by Astronomy on Tap at Jacob's Antique Centre from 10am until 12pm!πŸ”

I'm starting fleshing out a board game idea I've had for a few years now. It's got many different mechanics in it so I'm looking for advice. #boardgame enthusiasts what are your favourite mechanics in board games and why? Also, what are your favourite board games?

Cont. This image is special because of its high resolution. The white circle shows the outer edge of the CGM and each quadrant corresponds to a key physical property that is important in the evolution of the CGM! The CGM is a vital component in the evolution of galaxies as it fuels star formation.
