It was a cold and jammy Perpetual Groove show at the Hi-Fi, Indy last night. Probably my last this year. Much respect for a band that eschews the whole leaving the stage ->encore process and simply thanks the audience for coming and here’s our last song. #ThisMustBeThePlace encore was top shelf

Mostly true recounting from concert archives ‘cept Andrew Gold opened the show for Linda Ronstadt. He played the golden girls theme song when they were just girls. Played in her band for the rest of the show.

Marco Benevento was my first show at the Hi-fi 11 years ago. This was pre-remodel with the bar on the right and the filthiest men’s room in Indianapolis ever.

Just got home from Yes at the Murat in Indy. Good show. Sound kinda muddy so it was great for watching Steve Howe gesture and scowl at the sound board all night.

Polyrhythmics played their first Indiana concert at the Hi-fi in Indy last night. They have a great horn section. They play clips from the Easy Rider movie and cartoon samurai cats during the show. They claim to be from Seattle. Would recommend.

Somewhat faded lamb bas relief on a gravestone in old Southport Cemetery

Looks like a ‘holy bible’ relief carving on the top of this gravestone. 150ish year old marker is holding up well.

This open bible’ relief carving looks good after 160 or so years. A good cleaning would do wonders for this stone
