I am not an adversarial DM (I want them to win!), but part of the performance is making them think I'm trying to kill their characters in the most awful ways imaginable.

Though, they did really well against an enemy way above their punching weight again. I may honestly have to not pull punches.

I was a bit cheeky running d&d Saturday. Boss monster cast Hypnotic Pattern when the party was bunched up around it. Most people made saves, but you know who didn't? The martial and the druid's familiar that always uses the help action to give advantage on attacks.>

Constantly monitor yourself for signs of fogeyness, it seems to sneak up on people in this decade.

I met a lot of cool artists doing great work. I wish I could have spent more time there chatting and socializing. I'm not really an extrovert, but it's invigorating seeing people be passionate and driven. Furries are cool as hell.

The crash fucked me up, and I knew I'd be discovering the extent of what over the years following. It's difficult to disentangle what parts are grief and depression from actual physical injury, but at the end of the day it's all regarding a holistic system anyway.

I wish my stupid body would be more cooperative. I'm fatigued, I'm in pain, I can't seem to think straight. I used to be able to work just fine with no problems but the slight stress of "being a normal person with a 9-5 job" is just way more than I can seem to cope with.>
