The second is using H-2A immigrant work visas that tie the immigrant's legal status directly to their employment, allowing corporations to engage in debt-bondage forced labor, wage theft, and human trafficking with very little oversight.

The first is spending money to fund politicians that enable funneling undocumented immigrants into for-profit prisons that pay $1 per day for coerced labor.

The context of demonizing undocumented immigrants is that corporations want slave labor. Corporations can do it via a two-fold process.

- Trump is mirroring the 1950s Red Scare fear of communism/atheism/gays
- Trump wants people to fear liberalism as anti-American
- The playbook is basically the same
- Trump is using it to justify atrocities
- It needs to be named and shamed

The important thing to remember about McCarthy when he caused the Red Scare was that he didn't actually find any communists. Just like Trump is fighting an empty "woke" war. Both have ruined countless careers, lives, and reputations without any benefit.

- Mass media misinformation stirring public fear
- Censorship and suppression tactics for artists, writers, books, history
- US outwardly projecting fear of internal contradictions
- Christianity is inserted further into government and used as a loyalty test

The Red Scare and Blue Scare have many similarities
- Moral panic over social differences or atheism as existential threats to the US
- The enemy within is journalists, politicians, educators
- Anti-intellectualism where educators are seen as radicalizing or indoctrinating

The Red Scare was about tactics enforcing conformity to a homogenized American identity. The surge of Christianity in the 1950s had strategic top-down messaging that made it like a US loyalty test. The current administration is bastardizing this into something you could call a Blue Scare.
