*this is not just teaching! I’m commenting more on the expectation of society/ we put on ourselves to be all the things all the time and it’s just so hard to keep all balls juggling - career, parenting, life etc

It’s hard. Yes, you have the holidays but what about the drops/pickups, the assemblies and school events you can’t attend or getting home to help your YR child with reading but they’re too tired because it’s so late. It’s a constant feeling of guilt. You love your job but you love your family too

Been feeling a lot of self doubt and had a dose of imposter syndrome the last few months but I’ve done a ‘thing’ this morning and it felt good and I remembered I can do some stuff well (when I get out of my head). I need to talk more kindly to myself.
