I know gifts don't pay the rent, but using the example of kpop patronage, today gifts basically clothe and shoe the groups. These gifts are above and beyond what they're paid for modeling / promoting. Not perfect, it's a start.

a thought occurred during the seminar I'm attending.

Society needs to bring back patrons, like the renaissance era. You like an artist? You make a thing? Gift that artist with your products, and a note that you like what they do and want to see more. Brought to you by kpop (go figure)

I know tons of others have said all of this, but re-stating it might catch someone that needs the info. I hate not being the optimist, but you're right. I don't think anyone is coming to save us. It's time to save ourselves.

- coordinate skills. you know woodworking? Cool, I can knit and crochet
- Harass the Congress Critters, both state and federal level, however you're comfortable. (2/?)

OK, trying the whole posting thing again lol. Social media posting is a hard thing for me. It was used as an avenue of control and abuse in my past. Which is honestly hard to admit, but there we are.

Been practicing fiddle, getting my garden set, and harassing my Congress critters. How about you?
