As a longtime Opeth fan who likes their progressive phase as much as their death metal era, I found this album to be the perfect synthesis of the two. Will revisit this one often. Track 4 is a standout.

It's catchy, it's atmospheric, yet crushingly violent. The pacing is incredible, the riffs... THE RIFFS!

A Magic Foundations draft deck that includes Zimone, Paradox Sculptor, Tatyova, Benthic Druid and Loot, Exuberant Explorer.

Second trophy in two days in #MagicFoundations draft this morning. Zimone is an insane magic card.

The landfall package really did wonders against grindy matchups, and Bigfin Bouncers stopped aggro decks very efficiently. Made it up to Diamond 4!

As much as I like prog, fusion and Cynic's earlier albums, this one failed to grab me as much. The spoken vocoder transitions felt distracting and created a lack of pace.

Still not over how magnificent Songs of A Lost World is. It's the first time in a while that I feel compelled to spin an album on repeat.

My girlfriend has been playing a pretty cool mobile card game which is thoroughly ruined by the microtransaction model. They made a superb base game, but instead of cool new challenges, the levels are just grinding to see ads to grind to see ads. What a waste!
