In that regard, I think X's community notes is in the right direction.

The transparency around Trust and Safety (TnS) on major platforms has become quite opaque, which circles back to my initial question: whose TnS are we living under?

At a peer-to-peer level, though, it feels like content moderation should come down to personal preference. Perhaps it’s a matter of 'like' or 'dislike', where users can choose to block or mute content and individuals without needing top-down enforcement.
