Nah I've given up on that one. I don't need it so much as I would just want access to the servers again. For some reason if it's unbanned it can get rebanned and I'll be able to get into servers on my current account. Idk why. I just know started ghost banning when I moved my phone number over

It's as solved as it's gonna be which is not at all lol. The long and short of it is that I'm ghost banned in servers/blocked by users that my old account was and if I want to get back in those servers/in contact with those users I need that old account to get unbanned/unblocked.

Ah yeah that's fair. I've been really busy just trying to get through the winter so I haven't been keeping up with the world as much but I'm aware enough to know it hasn't been great.

If you ever need to chat I'm open to it! Been kinda wanting to talk more anyways

Definitely a scam anyway. The account looks less than an hour old and I got a similar reply to a post where I said I didn't want to recover my hacked account

An email from discord support acknowledging issues of ghost bans from the user's hacked account but being unable to fix them

I'm literally just wanting to use my discord and not have it be affected by a hack on an entirely different account

Unfortunately my new account seems to be banned. Transferring my phone number transferred all the blocks and bans to my new account so I'm unable to rejoin right now

... okay update: my new account seems to be banned from servers because discord forced me to transfer my phone number to keep using the account and discord remembers the number as my old one
Which seems like a great security feature! If you're trying to ban the person and not the account!! RAAAAGHH

ALSO - 2FA DOES NOT PROTECT YOUR DISCORD ACCOUNT FROM BEING HACKED.
I've had 2FA on my account for years and it did nothing to protect me from getting hacked. Be extremely careful out there please
