Great panel today! The AAPI in Hollywood: Where Do We Go From Here? with Miranda Kwok, Chase Sui Wonders, Abigail Hing Wen, Saagar Shaikh. I loved hearing the background stories of each of them and how they arrived at where they are today. So inspiring. Always great seeing & meeting friends too

I just took the leap. I listened to what the Universe was saying to me and I just did it. All the jobs I had before were never careers they were jobs to support my art that became my business. Treat it like any other business and stay positive.

Hi Max, my advice would be to go find filmmakers and hangout with them. Find events to network in your local area. Find people online. Remember it’s always about the hang not just what someone can do for you. Get in those rooms and say “Hi!” and develop relationships with people you gel with.

This is my 22nd year of quitting my 9-5 to pursue a career in music/entertainment. Oakland to LA.
