I think that's quite a normal feeling. A lot of people feel like that when they see others do or accomplish thinks that you would want.
Happens to me all the time, specially with art, so I use it as a driving force.

Oh, that doesn't mean I am successful at it.
How I think is one thing, but how I speak, completely different story.
I jumble everything up sometimes or do literal translations or forget words in my own mother language.
Switching a lot between languages tends to have this effect

Depends on the moment. If I'm speaking with people on my mother language, I'll think in that. If I'm watching a stream or song in english, I'll think in english.
