Every major UK newspaper - left, right, broadsheet, tabloid - is running a front page campaign against copyright carveouts for AI training.
I can't remember the last time any political cause had such broad support, let alone one so anti-big tech and so economically consequential.
Antony Trollope does it better. Dickens is over rated.

The underside of a robot vacuum cleaner (roomba), stuck in the central plastic rotational sweepers (which are two finned cylinders which are light and dark green) is a LEGO minifig —all that is visible is his face and arm, but his arm can be seen to also be green (his body and legs are green which is bizarrely coordinating with the sweepers) his hand appears raised in a salutation, and his face is smiling, he has luxurious black hair and a moustache —the overall effect is that he’s popped out to say “Hi!”
I’m running the robot vacuum cleaner…half the fun is hearing it cry out for help and finding out what it’s choked on this time…this made me laugh, started to scoop it out and had to take a photo…

Diversity is a benefit to us all, not a plague. The LGBTQ+ community are not mentally ill. The immigrants aren’t all here to steal your jobs and benefits.
The world is not all straight, white, able bodied men. Consider that in helping others you may actually end up helping yourself as well.
