I'm usually last second clutch. I had a whole other round to kill. I just walked around the ostrich village. I didn't wanna risk going any higher in case I lost all my hearts. Void Kong is MERCILESS when you lose hearts.

Either I'm getting better at these Emerald Rush events, or else I got incredibly lucky, but I cleared Ostrich Riches on my second attempt! And now that Donkey Kong Bananza has a statue of Expresso, it's officially as impressive as Donkey Kong Land and Banjo-Pilot.

Apparently, I was the only fan who took K. Rool's presence granted in Bananza from the start. In the DK games where the Kremlings are absent, they never added other crocs as a replacement or mockery to DK's first and main antagonist group.

A stampede is coming 👁️👁️

I love how this islet is just becoming Donkey Kong’s repository of trauma and bad memories.

Nothing like a haunted house full of waxworks in the images of the bullies and tyrants who made your life miserable.

As 2025 draws to a close and we reflect on the year in the Donkey Kong Universe, I think this screenshot would be the MOST surreal to me in December 2024.

Fan service doesn’t make a game good, but a great game that goes out of its way to include it feels special.

Legendary Rare designer Gregg Mayles has posted the full Stop 'N' Swop document for Banjo-Tooie! This includes plans for Donkey Kong as a playable character in Banjo-Tooie's multiplayer, how the Ice Key would be passed from Banjo-Kazooie to Donkey Kong 64 to Tooie (and beyond!), and much, much more.

Donkey Kong fans today: Yeah, so do your best to dodge the Peekaboopoids and manage the Rolluskoids to get to the Stompoids and you should have Ghastly King waiting for you back on DK Island.

Unlike last month's event, I was able to knock this one out during my lunch hour on the first day! I feel it was substantially more straightforward, despite the stress of navigating around Landfill Layer. No multi-day anxiety chasing Lanky here!
