I took a knife sharpening class with the TO @knifewearknives.bsky.social team today and it was great. It’s one of those skills that feels so strange and then just clicks.

We learned using our own Western style knives but I treated myself to this gorgeous handmade Japanese Nakiri knife.

Skating on the canal is one THE best things to do in winter period.

I did a lot of hot yoga pre-2020 and this felt like the laziest hot yoga session, no workout, just lounging and gossiping in the heat. 10/10 no notes.

I went with a friend to Othership, one of these hot-hot saunas + cold plunge places today and despite my better instincts, I effing loved it!

They throw scented snowballs on the hot stones that are kind of amazing and do a little towel waving number to waft the nice smell around, it was a vibe.

The first summer I moved to MTL I worked with a group of community gardens and travelled to and from each on the metro with a pitchfork as they each didn't have their own tools.

People for sure kept clear of me too.
