Alright, remodelled an old Minecraft Avatar from a previous project, worked out some kinks in the texture import settings, figured out how to activate the shapekeys;

But now my Godot isnt picking up any of the available microphones anymore?
Not even in the other scenes where I didnt touch the code.

If any artist tells you that using reference is cheating/isn't truly learning and you have to struggle with getting a pose just right without it?

When @aceottorney.bsky.social first told me about this I said "this could change people's lives and stop developers from getting exploited" and having seen the final resource, I think I was not wrong. I'd call it a must-bookmark for indie devs.

For now I`ll just focus on three mouth shapes and a volume detection, with some slight scaling inbetween for the height of the mouth.
That way I dont get stuck in Dev Hell at the second hurdle.

The idea is always very fun, but in reality, these glasses should get the toy gun treatment.
A big bright orange bit around the camera end or an obvious cap/lid that the user has to move aside physically while recording, to make it obvious what's going on.
