A few pages from the Jujutsu Kaisen manga.

Now that Higuruma’s in the anime, wanted to share this ‘barrage’ he does in the manga. I quite like how deliberately it shows him blinking the gavel between his hands to set up the move. Feels like Gege is taking us step-by-step before going: “now check this out!”

At times like this I like to ask: how's the sun today, Icarus? Digital bits like that seem like a pain to draw, a real momentum killer. 😅 Looking good though!

Hyune, returning from a trip that ran a bit long. She's always picking up curses. Funnily, she can tank the big ones, but small curses (e.g. always being a minute late or misplacing her keys) cause her the most trouble.

A plain version to end the day. This piece saved me from a period of burnout; I had been slipping for a while. But then I started painting Camie's bodysuit, and suddenly I was motivated again. Painting the same old muscle with a different palette was the little shakeup I needed.

Ah, Minecraft. My fondest Minecraft memory is being forced to cull my chicken horde. It was a world I shared with my siblings, and my chickens made it lag like crazy. Played Timesplitters 3 for the first time recently; tons of fun.

Man, I think I've only played the beginning of KH2 while visiting a cousin one summer. I've been a Roxas fan ever since. "Looks my summer vacation is... over" and "My heart belongs to me!" just tore me up.

Oh, for sure. I think OG appeals to a methodical way of play while RE4R feels more like a free-for-all. The mercenaries mode in particular is such a blast in RE4R while the OG just never clicked for me.

Such a wonderful remake. It’s a tough call given how well the og holds up, but I kinda prefer RE4R too. The added bromance with Luis was exquisite, and I liked the island parts more. 👌

I’m not someone who goes in depth with games, so I focused on ones that either really hooked me or changed how I thought about games. I’ll take any opportunity to sing Death Mark’s praises: might be my fave piece of media ever.

They might be more so sports movies, but Apollo Creed from Rocky is wonderful. Love how boisterous he is, and the late, great Carl Weathers played him perfectly. Plus seeing Creed go from antagonist to trusted ally in Rocky 3 is so satisfying. He's a rival that elevates the movies for me.

Since everyone’s covered the direct links between 7/8, I’ll also add that seeing Chris between both games is kinda funny. In 7 he’s an average dude, and then in 8 he’s back to boulder-bane Chris. It’s like, that’s a whole different guy.

Thanks! What’s even meaner is that the blowout basically shut down the Sally Pride in their hand. Yep, Shredder was a house. The big Sneak one in particular was fun. Swapping out a little flier or deathtoucher to blast in for 6 was great.
