📢 We stand in solidarity with all those who are protesting to access their rights and call the Greek authorities to urgently ensure all have access to fair asylum procedures, procedural guarantees and dignified living conditions in open state facilities while their procedures are pending.

This was described as 'psychological pressure' to push those who are still detained to sign for deportation.

Reports of police violence - both verbal and physical - were also made.

🚨 Today, MIT joins 200+ others in calling for the rejection of the EU’s proposed “Return Regulation”. Really about deportation, it will expand detention, fuel racial profiling & weaken safeguards. Europe needs dignity, care & solidarity — not punishment & profit at the cost of fundamental rights.
