Centralization vs. Decentralization: Twitter is a centralized platform controlled by a single company, while BlueSky uses a decentralized approach, meaning no single entity has complete control over the network.

The platform uses the AT Protocol (Authenticated Transfer Protocol), which allows users to have more control over their online identity, content, and even the algorithms that curate their feeds.

BlueSky is a social media platform developed with a focus on decentralization, aiming to create a more open and user-controlled network. It emerged from a project initially funded by Twitter in 2019 but became independent in 2021.
