Marisol was born in an abusive household, and by the age of thirteen, they ran away. Mari lived in a forest cabin until it was noticed by the X-Men. They permanently live and are a student at the mansion. Marisol is closest with Gabby, Jubilee, Peter, Jay. It's favourites are Peter and Jay
because of its shadow like tendencies, Marisol's eyes suffer in bright illuminated areas. To prevent this, they wear a special type of glasses. They have a red lense that illuminates the world around them. Mari doesn't like it when people stare at them for long periods of time. It makes it nervous.

Marisol can manipulate shadows or create them. They can use these shadows and teleport using those shadows as well. When it is using their powers, it's hands go black as well as their eyes. The normal eye colour for Mari is a teal like green
