In the last day or so I’ve found myself with a nine year old and another child with a confirmed place at secondary school, which is mad when you consider I myself am only in my twenties.

Started re-reading Project Hail Mary ahead of going to the cinema to see it soon, but then started remembering bits I’d forgotten and now can’t decide if I should continue on or allow that rediscovery for the film…

Whilst I don't have love for the leader of either party, today gives me more hope for the possibility of a Labour-Green coalition gov. It would move politics back to the left. I can't see Greens winning a majority, or Labour course correcting under Starmer, so this feels the best case scenario.

Last night proves there is a huge groundswell of support for the politics of the left. That Labour came third is all down to Starmer. He has led the party away from those ideals and in this by-election he put self preservation ahead of the party. He must resign. (Preferably once Burnham’s back)

Fucking hell. RIP Rob Grant and thank you. Gutted.

And yes, I know we don't vote for him directly unless he's standing in our constituency, but a vote for a party is also a vote for the leader of that party to be the PM should they win, so that matters to me.

Greens continue to do well in polls, but I struggle with Polanski & the whole, hypno boob job thing. I can't work out if a) he believed it, so is/was a moron, or b) didn't believe it & was a conman. Both stop me from voting for them & it has to be 1 of the 2. I'm open to being convinced otherwise

By all means, play Cunha Mbeumo and Amad when you expect to be up against it, but when you need to have a player to build attacks around who can play with his back to the goal, Sesko has to start. #MUFC

Another vital goal from Sesko but it’s becoming unfathomable to see him not starting, especially against teams who will drop deep and deny the space behind for most of the game (yes, I know how we scored.) Utd playing a lot of football without an attacking focal point and it shows…

Hope you all had a nice weekend out there. House is back to normal as the kids and wife are all back at school/work, and whilst it's peaceful, I do kinda miss them being around. (Don't tell them, obviously.)
