Completed the build of my first 3D mecha modeled from scratch for miniature gaming/ painting.

next is to do some fixed poses and eventually 3D print a prototype.

ER Large Lasers

Trying new things. Designing some conversion parts for a plastic model kit I have at home. So far finished the shoulders and missile launcher, next will be the head. I plan on getting these printed on flexible resin.

This mini started life as a Lyran Regulars mech before I stripped it & sold to a good friend. This year he sold a couple of mechs from his collection & I bought this back from him.

It now proudly joins one of my fave Merc units sporting a fresh coat of paint.

Here he is, Red Comet, my unexpected dark horse in the last Battletech Day campaign. As dangerous in a cave like a red Z'Gok infiltrating Jaburo. Deleted a Phoenix Hawk IIC like it was an RGM-79. May you live long.

Surprisingly effective at hunting light mechs in my last game, I used the 10G variant and it survived a lot of punishment before blowing up.

This was refreshing. Haven't finished a model kit in a while. This 1/60 scaled Fortishield kit is just the right mix of quick and cool. Doesn't break the bank either.
