Bailey Zappe heaved a deep bomb down the right sideline for WR Key’Shawn Smith. CB Melvin Smith tipped the pass but Key’Shawn still managed to haul it in.

Key’Shawn Smith impressed during rookie minicamp, making plays already since arriving in camp a few days ago.

Haven’t seen WR Hollywood Brown (ankle), TE Jake Briningstool (hamstring), LB Drue Tranquill (back) or CB Kristian Fulton (knee/PUP) come down the hill this morning.

Looks like everyone else will go for the Chiefs in some form today.

Arrived at 8:15 Saturday morning and I knew I didn’t have a chance. Greeted at the media tent with, “You didn’t beat Harrison today.” The man is a machine. He’s 10-0. Even the great Vitaliy Gurman didn’t put up these kind of numbers.

I thought for a brief second I had him today. Just an empty football field under hazy sunshine and a ridiculous 63 degrees. Then emerging from the training tent he was there. How in the world am I going to beat this mother butt kicker? Well done, Harrison, well done indeed.

The rash of injuries at wide receiver promoted need for roster space, so a second punter in camp became a luxury.

Prediction: Czaplicki will punt in the NFL soon.

An otherwise empty football field other than Harrison Butker. He has made a mockery of #MattVsChiefs for first arrival. I fall to 0-8. And I’m certain Butker made this field goal too. Look at the way he walked away to the next kick. He knew it was good.

New Chiefs injuries today: WR Hollywood Brown (ankle), WR Skyy Moore (illness), LB Jeffrey Bassa (ankle), LB Cooper McDonald (illness) and CB Eric Scott and S Deon Bush both hamstring. WR Xavier Worthy banged his head when he went to the ground trying to make a catch.
