Page 5 and 6 of Study Buddies. This is a double page spread containing 8 panels in which the rumor of Ari being a trans boy is being spread across the school. The Mars symbol is used instead of words to represent the rumor.

Pages 7 and 8 of Study Buddies. In Page 7, we see two students smoking in the teacher's lounge and discussing who in class they think is gay. One of them mentions class president Cyrus Bellamy, right before Cyrus enters the room to ask what they are doing. One of the students asks if he is gay. In Page 8, Cyrus is mentally trying to find a way out of the situation, surprised that the student guessed correctly that he is gay. He lies unconvincingly that he likes a girl, and the students ask who the girl is.

Pages 9 and 10 of Study Buddies. In Page 9, Cyrus is panicking that he didn't think of a girl to pretend to like, and decides to pick the weird girl from his class. He says that he likes Ari, and at the same moment a student from the page 6 rumor montage enters the room and tells everyone that Ari now identifies as a boy. Cyrus is defeated. In Page 10, we are in the classroom before the bell rings. Cyrus is still feeling shocked. Ari stands in front of the class and tells everyone that he is a boy now, and the whole class responds: "we know."
