My little plane tracker coding exercise is now a real world pointless gadget. 9 inch screen that automatically turns on when I stand in front of the window and tells me what aircraft I can see, or a simple clock if there's nothing isn sight. Then turns itself off if nobody is looking at it.

My Dombox–far tamer than it sounds; a box that was once full of chocolate made by the talented @dom (author of Chocolate, a superb book that explains and teaches how to make bean to bar chocolate)–is nearly empty.

I just enjoyed this bar of Vietnamese Tiền Giang 74% dark chocolate!

I think our trains are pretty phenomenal compared to large parts of the rest of the world - esp. North America.

We have new stations opening every couple of weeks and trains every 10 minutes where other countries have them every 10 hours and I can happily live without a car. I love our trains.

I think chilli is one of those things that you can train yourself to love by taking it slowly. I used to hate it, but now appreciate some gentle warmth. Not interested in anything that hurts me though!

Chilli is one of those things that the more you try it, the more you get used to it, then start to love it. 🙂

This bar makes me screw up my face a little with its slightly sour notes and heat, but I really enjoy the little kick it gives me!

Ooo, I just got to sample that flavour via an enrobed little shell 😋 I do not normally enjoy 🌶️ in my 🍫 but in the version I tried it had a lovely array of tastes as the outer shell melted.

£2.30 well spent. One of my favourite albums until a certain relative stole my vinyl collection a few years ago!

I can recommend these. Not that I'm biased.

Coincidentally, my new Duran Duran CDs just arrived. Going to need the other boombox for these.

Semi-serious point: I can buy ~5 CDs a month for the cost of a Spotify sub. I own the physical media, but can still rip it and stream it in lossless quality from anywhere.

I built up my Twitter following through sheer bloodymindedness, but sadly no longer have the energy.

Yeah, 12k followers but my tweets get shown to 100 people if I'm lucky now.

Twitter used to be a big part of my social life, which is a big thing when you have mobility problems and getting out is hard. That's just gone now.
