Beyond the Black Rainbow is one of my favorite films of all time. I think I appreciate it more each time I see it. Downton Abbey and Gilded Age are both amazing shows to me but I also really love a good messy soap opera lol

Man it’s been such a weird month for me, I only watched six movies all of September that weren’t work related which like never happens. I’ll have to do better in October about it.

I do too, I read Closer and Frisk last year and really loved those as well but that’s all I’ve read from him so far outside of the first chapter of a comic he collaborated on. I’m really wanting to dive into the rest of his work.

I’m like half thinking about doing a video about the life and body of work of Dennis Cooper because there’s not a lot of substantial work on YouTube about him, but that also means that I’d have to live in his world for a few months and I don’t know if I’ve got that in me.

I read this this past week. Evil, evil book, but extremely well done, impactful, actually heartbreaking. I don’t even know what to say about it other than it will stick with me for a long time and that I would highly recommend it.

Unfortunately it has some copyright problems, Universal is notorious for being really hard to deal with on that

I really really love that movie. I live near Jack Sholder who was the editor for that and also the director of Nightmare 2. I see him in public occasionally so I’ve gotten to talk with him a few times about making The Burning which was a lot of fun for me.
