my older brother was diagnosed and didnt go through anything in particular for it. even got some accommodations in school for it (and the adhd more importantly) so i dont think i lucked out for not getting the diagnosis (but i do get where you're coming from)

you know, my parents should have suspected autism way sooner given my obsession with legos, strict color taste, and being a super picky eater. and also being a few grades ahead in reading and math. like sure its kinda Just kid things but... not even a screening?????
