I think it's counter productive to spend time complaining about the Democratic party here when they're the institution running the respectable candidate why isn't a bigot.
There's always room for improvement but how about we beat the bigot first and then circle back to our constructive criticism.

Biden won 15 million more votes than Obama or Clinton. So no, you're also wrong about the trend line.
But you are revealing a basic feeling a lot of people have molded their reality around. A lot of people think Trump should've been easy to beat. Pretty obvious you're wrong about that.

You're follow-up reply is making an argument that black and Latino voters are "slipping away" -- which is also false.
But additionally, it's internally incoherent with your own argument. How does a "class" first approach -- accepting bigots into the tent -- help that problem?

This is just wrong. Dems have lost the popular vote twice out of the last national 8 elections. That's 32 years!
It is obvious the coalition can attain a national majority.

The Senate wants to ban new passenger ferries built outside the state while the state is purchasing three new state ferries from Florida.
The Senate wants to require all new passenger ferries to be zero emission when the alternative is driving your car onto a ferry.
These are wild demands.

While it's mostly the same observation... I think it's wrong to focus on their tactical approach: using class to persuade white men.
I think it's likely their class analysis has led them to the conclusion IDpol doesn't matter. They themselves are ambivalent about the tattoo. It's not just tactical.

Tesla sued after Austin shooting suspect allegedly assaulted co-worker
A 65-year-old woman says the automaker ignored warning signs before Ndiaga Diagne, the suspect in Sundayβs mass shooting, assaulted her. She sued Thursday.
the Austin mass shooter was a Tesla employee who assaulted a coworker during a company-allowed prayer break late last year
the company refused to give the victim her assailant's name so she could press charges, and he went on to become a mass shooter

NYTimes should do that feature again where they ask all those Trump voters questions. But this time the line of questions should be like, "You remember he campaigned on mass deportations. How did you think that was going to go?"
Or "Do you remember he assassinated an Iranian general?"

The discourse around dubious ethical behavior is always broken because some people want to focus on knowing someone's intentions. But you'll never know what's in someone's heart.
You just have to draw conclusions from people's behavior.
