A lot of this is Story Magic as the game design works put it, vs player magic like pew-pews which don't scream low magic.

I think the ancestral paragons reflect that Conan or Warlord types were all of them heroic figures.

The used market is no place for a robot, I've heard about tje memory wipes, restraining bolts and torture if you don't get broken up for parts.

I don't know if you ever read my writeup that the Fatima in Five Star could cause the mecha's powerplant to run over the design specs even up to a V-Max style event. Basic Fatima and Etriml (brain in jar) could not perform like a high end designer Fatima could.

My personal rule of thumb was that near future mechs would never get past 4x because we had motors that could be 100x stronger than a human and a 4x tall humanoid mech would weigh 64x what a human does without armor and weapons. This completely ignores the power source mechs always ignore.

So let’s try this again.

Yeah, there need to be a lot more critters for this setting, the Wyvern are not the largest predator. The flying whale Sarah did is one of the bigger filter feeding critters in the setting.

Back when I was starting in the biz, the style guides and insider documents were _fascinating_ but by the time I was working, WEG was no longer doing Star Wars.

Paypal is now playing harder ball on artists, going after anyone even mentioning commissions.

Artists, send invoices. That way, no one has to say what the money is for on Paypal's paper trail.

Customers, SAY NOTHING about commissions. Just say "thanks" on donos.

So I guess you make private calls from one, but to be anonymous you'd want unmarked kiosks in the back of convenience stores that aren't advertised.
