I was told that we couldn't have protected bike lanes on 82nd because the road wasn't wide enough for that and dedicated bus lanes, does this mean we will be getting bike lanes?

The main issue with the 72 in my experience is that at busy times you end up with 3 buses coming simultaneously every 45 minutes rather than the scheduled every 15 minutes service. This stretch absolutely needs dedicated transit lanes to maintain spacing and speed travel for riders.

I'd say that in Portland we have had to drag the city to diverters unfortunately, they are loathe to use them and have been removing some recently. They are clearly the answer to some of the problems our neighborhood greenway system has but it is so hard to get the city to actually use diverters.
