she was a part of this batch (only the ermine sold) and an adopt not selling =/= it not being a worthwhile design exploring & problem-solving experience. i had tons of fun with the whale/hafgufa. abyssinian guinea pigs are personal to me. countess remains herself.. i still put pieces of me out there

-to keep her like that. even if no one bought her (adopts are unreliable methods of income if you didnt build the audience for it. and just bc someone likes a design doesnt mean they should buy it out of pity only to end up not using it) it felt good to not compromise her fatness just so she'd sell.

designed an adopt and halfway through the drawing process i made her bigger. it wasnt planned, but it did feel right. it was a fitting body shape to how i imagine her presence (calming, warm, comfortable, absolute)
i deflated when someone in vc said "oh i lost interest"(🙄) but it felt right- (cont.)
