it's also interesting how the interview in this article frames hating your boss as a "you're probably just too sensitive and can't take criticism from management" thing as opposed to what I personally am seeing more of, which is a growing discomfort w the economic disparity between Boss & Employee

On BBC news this morning this was framed as "disabled people are going to cause a recession" and talking about how to make disabled people get jobs.

There was no mention of how the govt has restricted covid vaccinations so most of us have to pay £100 if we want one.

i mean, without even touching on the subject of AI art witchhunts and if analyzing artstyle is the most effective way of battling AI (it's not), it's just weird how people aren't getting as mad at the exploitation of labour when it comes to collectible merch

-so that the learning process is gradual. it's hard to do that kind of shit alone. I end up with 35-40 tabs open literally just trying to understand a 10-page document. I don't think people who've completed a tertiary education really appreciate that

"just read theory, it's easy" the thing about school is that it doesn't just teach you the words and concepts necessary for the understanding of further theory, it gives you STRUCTURE. it knows which concepts (generally) to teach first, it tells you how much time to spend on each-

having zero education and trying to navigate academic spaces in a self-guided way is a fucking nightmare
