Anyway I’m going to a local anti-ICE protest today because it feels like my body is actually screaming at me to get my ass out and physically do something, anything instead of feeling the helplessness and despair like I felt in the bulk of 2025. I’ve circled back around to do-not-fuck-with-me fury.

None of this, particularly the callous conservative doubling, tripling down on justifying murder, should be surprising behavior for the party who unabashedly ran on “MASS DEPORTATIONS NOW.” And yet it’s still so infuriating for me in real time.

Surprise! The city just dropped by and planted a tree in front of my house today. Okay, thanks.
