Originally just one color variant (I made a 2nd one and animated them for my own experiment). For @nyt Paired with a review of Tao Leigh Goffeโs book โDark Laboratory.โWe went with an unusual color scheme to take the environment out of the lense through which it was traditionally seen/portrayed.

These were 2 of 4 coaster oil paintings that sold in 2022 for Nucleus Portlandโs coaster show - really loved how they came out and how they look together. It was nice to explore painting again after 10 years of a hiatus. Iโm mostly a drawer but it was quite fun to experiment๐๐ฆ

Jumping on to share this 2/3 spread from 2023, for Johns Hopkins magazine about broccoli sprouts and their superpowers against diseases and cancers. Broccoli does this too, but not to the same degree as the sprouts.
