There's a story in Trevor Noah's book "Born A Crime" about how someone from his dance troupe as a young guy was named Hitler and that he knew a guy named Mussolini as well. The parents were fuzzy on what these dictators actually did and just knew their names as strong military leaders.

There was a decades long free speech movement. It was successful. Things became uncensored. Then, after that, a few people decided everything had to be offensive. This was bad. Cultural backlash happened. We are starting to see proper, damaging censorship again. We cannot let it happen.

I find this was a very common mistake. A lot of people left Twitter due to their toxic feeds, then followed a bunch of the same things here, which made their feed here toxic, too. Perhaps they didn't realize it was the accounts they largely agreed with that did it. It's a good lesson to learn.

Is there a good place where I can get the facts about this case concicely as they stand now? I really want some dry facts. Who is accused of what. Who is implicated. Who is mentioned but is not in any legal trouble. These details matter, and I've had a lot of trouble keeping them straight.
