"Oh my taste in books is rotten', 'm sorry, I like em real swoony. There's this one - 'The Heart of the Golem' - and I just adore it. Got me a soft spot for serious men reckonin' with their romantic side, I spose..."

"Y'know, it's selfish, but there's a song I wrote myself - about ... gratitude - it's not got a proper name yet, something like 'appreciation is a kind of kindness', and ... I like that one 'cause it's my way of seein' the way people give back to eachother, and give back too."

Dolly wouldn't lie that music isn't a huge chunk of their time, but they're also a pretty active person - they play sports, ride horses, go for walks - and when they fancy a quieter day they love to read, mostly slightly rubbish romance novels!

"My friend's kin tried to look after me but stuff went south for 'em too, so, the paladins gave me a bed and food and it was just kinda ... expected we would become like them too."
They hesitate.
"I weren't a good fit, but I didn't really know it yet - and I didn't know what I was yet. Do now."

"Oh... that..." Dolly looks sheepish, "the paladins were there when my village uh ... when the plague took em, y'know. I thought they were protectin' us but, they were stoppin' it from gettin' out.
