I think I spent something like half of my money summoning Yojimbo to gamble on his instant kill move bc I literally had no shot otherwise 😂 it worked though!!!

I vaguely recall playing the remaster and, pretty early in the end game, fast traveling to an early area to find something I missed. Turns out one of the dark aeon summoners had propped up on the outside of the village so I couldn’t get out without beating it…and I hadn’t grinded at all….

Make sure your RPG battle transitions, scene composition, and attack animations are at least as cool as this Taiwanese DOS RPG from 1995

I would even say that if you've never played an SRPG before and you're interested in it, I think this is one of those perfect pick up and enjoy ones. I think it teaches the player incredibly well with and without tutorials, and the freedom you get in your unit choice lends to a lot of distinct teams
