Beautiful work by Niyousha Sadeghpour developing a manual segmentation protocol for the anterior MTL cortex, important in AD and LATE! Grounded in a large set of annotated histology sections and postmortem MRI scans, labelled by the late Ricardo Insausti & his team.

Lovely collaboration with Renaud La Joie - our review is finally out! Summarizing the role of tau and TDP-43 in medial temporal atrophy in Alzheimer's disease and exploring different hypotheses regarding their potential timing and synergism.
