As someone who made a history series with the words “Untold History of” in title, I can say those words were entirely the choice of the broadcaster and all about marketing. And in our defence, we put the academics front and centre in the series and tried to make them the stars of the show.

I've heard back from the City of Vancouver.

They confirmed that they have approximately 265 staff "currently in the field" working the byelection.

That's a 79% dropoff from the 2017 byelection.

Odd they didn't mention that in their original explanation to media as to why lines were so long.

The United States is a rogue state that’s now launched an imperialist trade war against Canada and Mexico.

It’s time for countries, especially its former allies, to form an alliance to make the US feel the consequences of its actions and to break their dependence on US tech once and for all.

Reminder: we are being trained not to care about other people. It underlines the attacks on migrants, on DEI, on trans youth, on so-called "wokeness."

Sure there are legitimate critiques but this is not about critiques. It's about supercharging capitalism's culture of uncare.

This speech is the worst thing I’ve heard in my lifetime.
