Those who know me know that I love Mouseguard with a passion - so you can bet your bottom dollar I am hyped for Pick:Tiny bugs Big world. The Quickstart looked fantastic, and the playable characters seemed to be extremely unique in how they apporached things.

Finally, As a sucker for a Boxed game, I am very excited for the Starter Set of Twilight Sword by Two little Mice. A Small company with a big heart, they are the creators of Household and Outgunned, and have been making their own niche in this space for the last 10 years.

A lot of games make it overseas, but the way they influence other cultures is vastly different from our own: Do they go rules lite? Is traveller too slow? Do you need more rules for town adventures? Have any of you seen the OG Dark souls RPG dear lord.

So I am full support of this, and can't wait!

Sword World has been on the back of my mind since the announcement, and the reason I have been invested in foreign games being translated into english. I Feel there is a whole new world out there we have yet to explore that is just WAITING for us, and removing the language barrier is going to help!

You see I got the quickstart just to browse, and I saw something interesting. There is an actual Stunt to 'save bystanders'. Any game that says 'your cool thing you can do, is to be a hero' gets a vote from me regardless of the material.

Against my better judgement, I am going to give this a shot.

I want to see what the Zero engine looks like in a superhero context. I suspect it will finally beat Tales from the Loop for Best Zero Engine Game.

But Invincible? that was a struggle. Well, WAS.

The world is friendlier, the system should run smoother, and I am certain a lot more people have read Mistborn than Stormlight.

...it still plays just a liiiiiiiiiiiiiitle too much like pathfinder for me, but the Stormlight book's world guide was AMAZING, so this should be too.

I have been enjoying what I've played of the Cosmere RPG by @brotherwisegames.bsky.social , but I feel like the Stormlight Archive was not a good place to introduce people to the series. Which is why I am hoping the Mistborn RPG version is going to be better.

The concept that Ghost in the Shell can be a Blades in the Dark game is genius. But does it work? Most of the time BitD is used in heists, so what do you call a police raid? An anti-heist? I am fasinated by the concept, and I am looking forward to trying the QuickStart at Con-Tingency next year

Graham has been creating things for longer than I have been born, and his 'Dark; series is the only way I will willingly experience a cthulhu game. Having it FINALLY go cosmic is worth the purchase for the title itself.

I am obligated under contract to tell you that the Discworld RPG is going to be FUCKING amazing.

The biggest problem with Cörk Børd, is that I didn't come up with it first. From the mind of Paul Badaowski from @allrolledup.bsky.social comes... something? I genuinely have no idea how this plays, but writing wise they haven't let me down yet. Prepare yourself to get lost in Nordic Noir

I do however feel that the TRPG mindscape has vastly changed over the last 10 years, and we live in a world where the concept of 'moves' could be incorporated into your games without the prompting (goes to show just how awesome the original was)
