I also had a room with a default staircase, and to remove it and make a new one, I had to delete the bedroom. But no matter, I'll rebuild it.

I think you're imagining yourself as the "the odd one out," but you're actually more in align with "the better example of how to do it." It's hard to see where you are because you don't have to constantly analyze your situation like artists struggling do, and that's a good problem to have

Skill isn't an equal to reputation, there's plenty of insanely technical skilled artists out there but they fall behind in many aspects socially

You have a long history of being at this sorta thing (shout out the Tumblr days) consistent, you keep up with people, and regularly put yourself out there

i'll come across an artist with AMAZING art and check out their patreon page only to see a few members and it breaks my heart.
like objectively, i'm in awe of their art but then I think "how the hell have I been managing to make a decent living with my art at all?"
