I think "Trumpstein" should be how we all now refer to the current president until there is full transparency of the Epstein files. It has a ring to it. Doesn't it?

In reference to the $1.26b contract issued to build the 5,000-bed tent detention facility in Texas, my research shows the cost to build and operate such a facility for one year should range between $180m to $640m. Who is pocketing the rest?

This is one of the most frightening things Trump is doing. He wants to be able to lie and fake all the statistics to make it look like he is doing great and the economy is strong, when all the data shows otherwise. His base will believe whatever fake numbers he publishes.

It seems so obvious so why did I even do this post? Because I am reading a book titled "Engaging Minds - Evolving Learning and Teaching" and the authors made it sound like coopetition is a novel approach in education. Academics have a knack for making things sound complicated and theoretical.

Image students learning that when they cooperate and collaborate with other students, they all win? This is also why we encourage students to participate in team sports because they are the definition of coopetition.

The most successful teams in sports and business do this well.

Coopetition - this is a new word for me. It is a blend of cooperation and competition. In the context of education it encourages students to work together.

It's just a fancy word for teamwork, and it is a good thing in education and can be a business strategy as well.

Think about the alternative. Don’t ace the exam and forget your dreams because you have a limited future.

This is why the suicide rate amongst teenagers is so high in Asia and why parents spend a fortune on tutoring starting as young as 3 years old.

I cracked open a fortune cookie yesterday and was advised to "Ace the exam and pursue what you desire!". This is a classic example of the attitude towards education across Asia.

It is also a big part of what is wrong with education: the importance placed on standardized testing.

I saw an "expert" also point out that the video does not show Epstein's cell. It is apparently around the corner. The camera in front of Epstein's cell was not recording, according to this interview, which I watched on CNN. Sorry, I don't remember the expert's name.

I sent the draft of my book to my editor today. This is a milestone for me. My first book and I am excited and anxious to see what the editor thinks.
