I never met either of my grandfathers, my dad’s mum died when I was three and my mum’s mum lived to almost 101!

My maternal grandma was a kindergarten teacher and raised two kids, after raising her sister. Poppa was a Presbyterian minister (hello religious trauma). My paternal grandpa I’m not entirely sure because he died long before I was born and was born in 1880! My paternal grandma raised five kids.

It’s also a misunderstanding of what autism as a spectrum means. It does NOT mean a spectrum from a little bit autistic to super duper autistic and everyone’s on it somewhere, it means autism is a spectrum of traits and behaviours that different autistic individuals have to different degrees.

Aaaaah I loved this so much! I laughed so hard people stared at me on the train and my coworkers asked what I was reading. Magic academia is my favourite, and add queer romance, deep trauma and cuddly platonic bffs and no jealousy, it’s like it was written just for me.

Finally I can read Death in the Spires with my eyes! I’ll be rereading A Taste of Gold and Iron to refresh my memory for Tadek and the Princess, and I need another bookshop book!

The audio of Last Binding doesn’t do it for me personally, but others like it. An ff I enjoyed recently is Ladies in Hating (has audio but I don’t know what it’s like). Alexis Hall’s 10 Things That Never Happened (mm) has 10/10 audio (Will Watt ftw). Fake amnesia romcom but bring all the tissues.
