I don't know if there are any other social media platforms better for finding people who care and I'm at a loss how to reach more people. Where else do my fellow creatives post?
26.02.2026 16:01 — 👍 1 🔁 0 💬 3 📌 0I'm having a hard time figuring out why, whenever I post a link to my patreon posts, or my itchio page or my website, it never gets any likes or interaction. It feels like Twitter days of link suppression, only it's by user choice now. It's like any links to support creatives are toxic.

Here's a peek at some of the photos.
a night scene in Osaka taken off to the side of the street with buildings lit up on both sides of the street. the closest side has red and white japanese lanterns and tables and stools in front of the shop
van gogh's terrace cafe painting with a similar perspective of a night street with a cafe on the left with tables and chairs
This photo I took in Osaka immediately reminded me of Van Gogh's cafe painting. I wonder what he would have painted had he ever visited Japan, which he seemed to have an interest in.

thick moss growing up the side of a boulder and then branching off into a crack
thick tufts of several different types and textures of moss growing on the side of a boulder
thick clumps of short moss converging into thicker groups on a boulder
I'm really quite pleased with how the moss is growing on these boulders in my front yard. I love growing moss, I don't have to do anything but let it be and it creates art in my yard.

I was floored when my publisher's description of my first book came out and started "with wonder and a sense of humor..." and I legit had to ask if they were talking about my book. I'm funny? Me? They reassured me they were indeed talking about my book.
