I think the answer probably is, my work has no value. Being on here isn't doing me any good creatively or mentally. I'm gonna log off for a while

Or maybe people just want pretty pictures and funny videos and bite size screenshots of articles. I don't know if there are any other social media platforms better for finding people who care and I'm at a loss how to reach more people. Where else do my fellow creatives post?

I'm having a hard time figuring out why, whenever I post a link to my patreon posts, or my itchio page or my website, it never gets any likes or interaction. It feels like Twitter days of link suppression, only it's by user choice now. It's like any links to support creatives are toxic.

Parasites which are....invertebrates. My point stands.

This photo I took in Osaka immediately reminded me of Van Gogh's cafe painting. I wonder what he would have painted had he ever visited Japan, which he seemed to have an interest in.

Look, it's a fact invertebrates make this world go round, but the bias of March MAMMAL madness means they'll never win, even if they're superior in every way. Many inverts even have far better tails than you.

I'm really quite pleased with how the moss is growing on these boulders in my front yard. I love growing moss, I don't have to do anything but let it be and it creates art in my yard.

It's wild you publish Japanese language textbooks and then publish shit like this.

25.02.2026 14:03 — 👍 0    🔁 0    💬 0    📌 0

My Japanese language textbook is published by The Japan Times Publishing so it's absolutely wild they'd publish such an absolute garbage take like this. Guess I should give up buying their books and learning the language and just rely on AI. What a load of shit.

This is most accurate. I was floored when my publisher's description of my first book came out and started "with wonder and a sense of humor..." and I legit had to ask if they were talking about my book. I'm funny? Me? They reassured me they were indeed talking about my book.

ohhh nice, that looks really good!! I love the warm brown of the guitar, it really draws the eye too.

Oh yeah, the contrast between his outfit and the lamps against the white wall and light colored skyline is fantastic. And the echo of the tall buildings behind the lamp posts is really nice too, while the guitar follows the curving line of the wall.
