Well if people can't afford to buy anything then obviously it's going to hurt the economy. I never understood why give tax breaks to people who don't need it and take money from people who don't have it. Never made sense to me.

Finished my first knitted scarf! I love the colors, but I really wish the yarn was softer. It's so rough 😭 might make more with the other bitty stripes colors I have, seam them together and give it to the kitties. They seem to love the rougher towel feel.

I love when schools do that. I wish more schools did that. I think it's important to know about the books under attack. Hopefully the first book of flowers in the attic was before the brother started csa-ing his sister 😱 I would save that for a little older age.

Or death of a salesman or flowers for Algernon. Did you actually read flowers in the attic for school? Cuz dang. That said, I don't believe in censoring or banning books. I think people are idiots if they think reading a book will change their kids into entirely other people.

If we keep up the act maybe we can gaslight them into thinking that they are the clueless one.

I couldn't figure out knitting for my life. Eventually I found a "local" yarn shop several hours away that did lessons and it made all the difference. No idea if that's a possibility for you. Tunisian crochet is gorgeous and will definitely be warmer for the winter.

That's the best bet. I try really hard not to bend any of my tools because I've had a pair of knitting needles break once and I've been paranoid ever since. Wishing you the best of luck.

Not a ton. I've definitely pulled on it while accidentally sitting on it 😅 but I crochet, Tunisian crochet, knit, and sew, as a result I don't have one particular set of tools getting "over used"
