Last month, we’ve helped a resident receive their Civil Service pension, written to address the lack of NHS dentists, and liaised with a constituent following an e-scooter complaint.

Throughout July, my team and I have continued to work hard to support people across Blackpool South. We’ve now supported over 8,500 cases since I was elected last year.🗼

More than 170 hospices across England will benefit, helping to ensure people receive the very best care in comfortable, dignified surroundings.

This cash marks a further step in delivering the government’s Plan for Change, improving care in the community where people need it most.

I’m pleased that Blackpool Trinity Hospice will receive £615,213 from this funding to upgrade their facilities – including improvements like separate family rooms and new communal spaces that will make a real difference to patients and their loved ones.

I welcome Labour’s £75 million boost for hospices – the largest investment of its kind – to help transform end-of-life care across the country.

I’ve received a letter directly from the Minister for Local Transport, @simonlightwood.org.uk, confirming that the Department for Transport has secured the £15.3 million funding in the latest Spending Review.

The government’s Better Futures fund will change lives in Blackpool — Chris Webb The government has announced a landmark fund to improve the outcomes of children in England – the biggest of its kind anywhere in the world.

I’m delighted to see it’s being delivered, with hundreds of thousands of children, young people and their families getting a better chance in life.

Only last week, I spoke about the urgent need to stand behind our children – in Blackpool and across the country.

The government’s newly announced Better Futures Fund does exactly that, I’ve been calling for this type of fund to support Mental Health charities expand their capacity for years.
